Cupertino tech giant Apple launched the iOS 18.4 update earlier this week. This update opened the door for a bunch of features for iPhone 16 series and iPhone 15 Pro devices. The company has now introduced the first beta of iOS 18.5. It is speculated that the iOS 18.5 will be a minor update before the introduction of the iOS 19.
We have mentioned some features that can be expected from the iOS 18.5 Beta 1.
According to a report by MacRumors, one of the preliminary changes that this update brings in the iOS 18.5 update is the Mail app.
If a user taps three-dot icon in the upper right corner, he/she can be able to toggle contact photos on or off. There is a new option and it can allow users to disable the “Group by Sender” feature. Even though these features are already available in 18.4, they are present within the Mail section in Settings.
Additionally, users will also get updates to AppleCare information and accessibility. In the Settings app users get General > AppleCare & Warranty. There is a new banner which clearly says AppleCare. In order to learn more about AppleCare and warranties, there will also be another option.
The users will be able to tap on a device in their list in order to access a new AppleCare section. This will provide more details about their coverage. There will also be a Manage Plan option for users with an active AppleCare subscription.
Apart from the above mentioned updates, the iOS 18.5 will include various bug fixes. The display black screen that is present in the Apple Vision Pro app when downloaded from the App Store in iOS 18 beta 1 has been officially addressed. Apple has mentioned that the bug has been resolved.
