Theft take place in 4 temples of Bhadrak, ornaments worth lakhs looted
Bhadrak: In an alarming incident, theft reportedly took place in four temples of Bhadrak in Odisha. The miscreants have stolen precious things from the temples of Lord Shiva, Maa Mangala, Hanuman and Radhakrishna temple situated in the Nuasahi in Garadpur area under ward no. 28 of Bhadrak Municipality.
As per reports, looters have targeted temples. A series of loots have taken place yesterday night. The miscreants have looted from the Maa Mangala, Lord Shiva, Lord Radhakrishna and Hanuman ji temples.
The looters reportedly broke the lock of the Mangala temple and took away a silver crown, necklace and other ornaments. It is said that its estimated value is Rs 5 lakh.
Similarly, the lock of the Hanuman temple was broken and the hundi box and other items were looted. The villagers informed the police about the theft from the temple this morning.
Accordingly, Police reached the spot and started investigation. This series of looting has created a stir in Bhadrak.
