Bengaluru: 22-year-old woman murdered over relationship dispute; boyfriend arrested.

Karnataka : A painful incident has come to light in the capital Bengaluru, where a 22-year-old girl was allegedly murdered by her lover due to an ongoing love dispute. The incident took place in Doddakanelli area of ​​Bellandur police area on Sunday, creating a sensation in the entire area.

According to the information, the deceased woman has been identified as Purba Lepcha, a resident of Sikkim, who was working as a receptionist in a salon. The accused lover, Ati Hungma Shubha, who is said to be a resident of Darjeeling, West Bengal, was working as a waiter in a hotel.

Both were living together in a rented house in Doddakanelli area of ​​Bengaluru for some time. According to the police, the two were in a love relationship for about a year and previously lived together in Sikkim. Later, both of them came to Bengaluru about a month ago in search of work.

Police investigation has revealed that recently a dispute had escalated between the two over a conversation with another person. The accused suspected that the woman was in contact with another person, due to which there were frequent fights between them. This dispute escalated so much that the matter reached violence.

During the fight on Sunday, the accused got angry and slit the woman’s throat, resulting in her death on the spot. After the incident, the accused could not try to escape from the spot and was later arrested by the police.

Police officials said that in the preliminary investigation it has become clear that the main reason behind the incident was mutual suspicion and tension in the relationship. The police have taken the accused into custody and started interrogation and the weapon used in the murder is also being searched.
