Bhubaneswar: Temperature has dropped in different places of the State due to the effect of Norwester rain. It has brought a sigh of relief from the scorching sunlight and heat wave. This weather condition will continue for another 4 days, informed the MeT Department.
As per reports, different places of Odisha witnessed storm and rain due to the effect of Norwester in the last two to three days. Lightning, thunderstorm has been witnessed while rain has also lashed. Accordingly, it has brought temporary relief from the heat wave.
It has been observed that while sunny weather is continuing in the day time, the Norwester is showing its effect in the evening hours. Accordingly, it is raining along with lightning, thunderstorm. And, this weather condition will continue for the coming four days, informed the MeT Department.
In the meanwhile maximum day temperature has reached 42 degree Celcius in some places of the State. Yellow warning has been issued for as many as 19 districts regarding rain for today. Out of that gusty wind is likely to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph in 14 districts.
