Telangana: Jayasudha, Akula Rajender, Vikram Gaur will leave BJP

Hyderabad: In a major blow to the BJP in Telangana ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, former MLA Akula Rajendra, popular film actress and former MLA Jayasudha and Vikram Gaur, son of former minister Mukesh Gaur, have reportedly decided to leave the party. ,

It is likely that all three will submit their resignations on Thursday and will soon talk to Congress. According to party sources, the leaders were not happy with not getting entry during the assembly elections. A Rajendra, who had hoped to win the seat from Malkajgiri in 2009, declined the candidature and was replaced by former MLC N Ramachandra Rao as the party candidate. Similarly, Jayasudha was expected to get the ticket from Secunderabad, but it was given to Mekala Sarangapani, who suffered a huge loss.

According to reports, Vikram Gaur, who had secured the ballot paper for Goshamahal from the party’s state leadership, became disheartened after the ballot paper was handed over to MLA T Raja Singh.
