Students attacked in Indira Gandhi Agricultural University

Raipur. In the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University of Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, a case of brutally assaulting students has come to light. It is being told that on suspicion of common theft, the henchmen of the contractor barged into the hostel and thrashed the students fiercely. CCTV footage of the assault on the students has also come to the fore. Due to this incident, many big question marks are being raised regarding the security of the Agricultural University. Actually, a person named Rakesh Sonkar has been given the contract of Agricultural University.

It is clearly known in the CCTV footage that came to the fore that at first some people came inside riding a bike. A person with a stick in his hand is seen coming inside from behind him. When a student stopped his bike, the person who came with a stick is seen thrashing that student. No FIR was registered and the victim students gheraoed the Vice Chancellor’s room after this incident, after which an inquiry committee was formed. After this the contractor apologized to the students. It is being told that the matter has been resolved internally. At the same time, no FIR has been registered with the police.
