Actually, due to water reaching the wards, patients are afraid that poisonous snakes and scorpions may come in the rain water coming through the drain. Despite the construction work being done by the administration at a cost of crores, no attention is being paid to improving the drainage system. Almost every time during the rains, water enters the hospital premises.
This situation always arises due to the drainage system being jammed. Due to water entering the hospital premises, medicines and other items kept below have been damaged. There is 3 to 4 feet of water on the road to reach the district hospital. The bikes kept in the parking have also drowned in the water. If the administration does not take appropriate steps in time, there can be huge losses.
