Punjab: Canal closed for 45 days for relining work

Punjab: Punjab has informed Rajasthan that the Rajasthan Feeder Canal of the Indira Gandhi Canal Project (IGNP) will be closed from March 20 to May 3 for the second phase of relining work.
This 1.5-month closure is intended to allow Punjab to complete construction of the remaining canal section. Officials said this period could be extended by up to 60 days if necessary.
