Congress not interested in remaining in DMK alliance: K. Annamalai

Tamil Nadu: Former Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai said that Congress is not interested in remaining in the DMK alliance.
Speaking in support of NDA alliance candidates near Gandhi Park in Kumbakonam on Sunday, he said:
K. Anbazhagan, a three-time DMK MLA from Kumbakonam, is the MLA, but there has been no change in the constituency.
The Kumbakonam bus stand is being shifted 7 km away. This will cause unnecessary inconvenience to the people.
This will be the first election in which minorities in the Papanasam constituency will not vote for the DMK. If the AIADMK wins, Kumbakonam will be declared a separate district. They should vote for the AIADMK for better law and order in Tamil Nadu. Annamalai said that Stalin and Rahul Gandhi did not campaign on the same platform because Rahul did not want Congress to remain in the DMK alliance.
