Satna: A shocking incident has come to light from Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a video was going viral on social media, in which some people were going to throw six dogs in the river after stuffing them in sacks. As soon as the information about this was received, the police reached the spot and took two accused into custody from the spot.
According to the agency, this incident is from the outskirts of Satna, where some people were going to throw six dogs in the river after stuffing them in sacks and loading them on an e-rickshaw. At the same time two passersby passed by there. The passersby heard the sound of dogs in the closed sacks. When the passersby got suspicious of the people, they stopped the e-rickshaw and asked to open the sack. On this, the driver and the people sitting in the rickshaw started hesitating.
The bike riders pressured to open the sacks, after which when the sack was opened, there were six dogs in it. At the same time, without any delay, passersby made a video of the incident, which went viral on social media. After the video went viral, the matter reached the police. After this, the police registered a case and started action against the accused.
Satna Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashutosh Gupta said that a video has surfaced on social media, in which the person shooting the video can be heard saying that the dogs were tied and stuffed in sacks. These dogs were being taken to be thrown into the Satna river. Taking cognizance of this video, the officers have been instructed to take action.
Kotwali in-charge Shankhdhar Dwivedi said that the bike riders got suspicious after hearing the crying of dogs from the sacks loaded in an e-rickshaw. They forced the driver to stop the vehicle and open the sacks, in which they found six dogs. Accused Nandu Bansakar and Pradeep Bansakar were taking these dogs to throw them into the river. A case has been registered against both these accused under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and action is being taken.
