Mulugu News: Five-year-old girl accidentally fell into a well and died

Mulugu: A five-year-old girl died after falling into an open well in Lalaigudem village of Mulugu mandal on Saturday evening. The deceased girl has been identified as Vedashree. According to reports, Vedashree was playing with her friend Shantika in the field when the two girls accidentally fell into the well. Shantika’s brother witnessed the incident and informed his parents who were working in the field.

They rushed to the spot and pulled out the two girls from the well and took them to a nearby government hospital where doctors declared Vedashree dead. Shantika was lucky to survive and is undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
