Lifestyle: Mangoes come out as soon as summer starts. People eagerly wait for mangoes so that they can make pickles, chutneys and mango shakes from it. Some people like eating mangoes so much that they store boxes of mangoes at home. There is a different pleasure in drinking mango shake after dinner or instead of lunch during the day.
Mango is a versatile fruit from which many dishes can be prepared. Usually people make things like shake, chutney, pickle and aam panna from it. But today we are going to tell you some interesting recipes made from it.
Mango Kulfi
Ingredients to make Mango Kulfi-
2 cups full fat milk
1 cup thick cream
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup mango puree
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Chopped pistachios and almonds for garnish
Method of making Mango Kulfi-
Heat a heavy bottomed pan. Add full fat milk to it and heat it. When the milk comes to a boil, leave it to cook on low flame.
Keep stirring the milk with a spoon in between. The milk has to be cooked until it reduces to half.
Add thick cream and condensed milk in less milk and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes while stirring continuously.
Now add sugar and cardamom powder to it and cook till it dissolves.
Switch off the flame and let the milk cool down a bit. After this, add mango puree to it.
After adding the puree, mix everything. Pour the prepared mixture into kulfi mold or popsicle mold.
Leave it in the freezer for at least 6-8 hours to set.
Your Mango Kulfi is ready. Take it out from the freezer and dip the molds in hot water for a few seconds. With this, the Kulfi will come out of the mold easily. Garnish with pistachios and almonds and serve.
