Kalpana Soren will run India campaign

Ranchi: Former chief minister Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren, who has apparently taken charge of the party in her husband’s absence, is all set to become the star campaigner for JMM and India Bloc in Jharkhand.
According to party sources, the gap created after the arrest of Hemant Soren in the money laundering case related to the land scam will be bridged by Kalpana Soren, who is quite capable of doing so. Tanuj Khatri, who oversees Kalpana Soren’s media cell, said, “Being a popular face in the party and also among the people, the party has declared Kalpana Soren ji as the star campaigner for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.”

He said that Kalpana Soren ji will lead the campaign for both JMM and Indi alliance during the Lok Sabha elections. According to Khatri, Kalpana Soren has already formed her media team and has given preference to youth in her team, who are also party workers. The ED had arrested Hemant on January 31 after he betrayed them and went missing from his Delhi residence on January 29.
After disappearing from Delhi and suddenly appearing in Ranchi on the day of his arrest, Soren remained missing for about 40 hours. On March 17, in ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, Kalpana presented herself as a JMM leader and raised the slogan – India will not bow down – India will not stop.
