Raipur. Vande Bharat Express coming from Visakhapatnam to Durg narrowly escaped an accident at Nuapada Road in Odisha. According to the information, Vande Bharat Express was going from Visakhapatnam to Durg at around 10 pm last night. Meanwhile, the vigilance of the train’s loco pilot saw a big stone on the railway track and stopped the train about 100 meters before the railway level crossing gate.
After stopping the train, the loco pilot informed the station master about this. Soon the railway employees reached the spot and removed the stone from the track, after which the movement of the train could become normal after about an hour.
A team from Nuapada police station also reached the spot and started investigating the matter as to who and why had placed the stone on the track. At the same time, people praised the vigilance and prudence of the loco pilot, due to which a possible tragic accident was averted.
