Bilaspur. Acting promptly on the emergency call received at 3 am today, the Dial 112 team of the police saved the life of a hanging youth by removing him from the noose. The Superintendent of Police has announced to reward the team.
Bilaspur Police received information from the Control and Command Center of Raipur that a man had a dispute with his wife under Sirgitti police station. After this, he is trying to commit suicide by hanging himself on a tree in front of the house. This information was given to Quick Response Team 112 deployed in that area.
Team constables Harishankar Chandra and Arun Kashyap reached the designated place within 10 minutes. They parked the car under a tree and climbed on top of the car and cut the young man’s noose. He had become unconscious due to hanging, but was brought back to consciousness by pouring water on him.
He was taken to Sims Hospital in vehicle 112 and admitted. Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh has praised both the employees for their promptness in duty and has announced to give them separate citation and reward.
