Badaun: Bhandara was organized on Tuesday in Sainjani village of Badaun district of UP. Kirti Kashyap, daughter of former Amla MP Dharmendra Kashyap, had also reached to participate in it. On seeing Kirti Kashyap, some people of the village got angry and started protesting. Seeing the protest increasing, the supporters of the former MP also came in support of his daughter. Sticks were used between the two sides and a fight took place. A complaint was lodged at the police station by both the parties. Police have registered a case against about half a dozen people on the complaint of both the parties.

At the same time, the officials of Karni Sena reached the DM office on Friday and alleged that the people of Kshatriya community were beaten up at the behest of the former MP’s daughter Kirti Kashyap. Shakuntala Devi, a resident of village Sainjani of police station Musajhag area, gave a complaint letter to the police and told that some people of her village had returned to the village after filling water from Kachla Ganga Ghat. On this occasion, a feast was organized in the village. Former MP Dharmendra Kashyap was invited to the feast but he could not come. In his place, he sent his daughter Kirti Kashyap to attend the feast.

It is alleged that on Kirti Kashyap’s arrival, Veeresh, Sonu, Raja, Bablu, Anuj, Nitin, Ommi, Abhay Pratap, Rakesh, Pintu, Monu, Yashpal, Vicky etc. of the village started protesting. She was misbehaved with. Due to which Kirti Kashyap returned from there. The police have registered a case against the accused on the basis of the complaint letter. On the other hand, Veeresh gave a written complaint to the police and told that a feast was going on in the village on August 13. Former MP’s daughter Kirti had also come there. Kirti’s driver present there started misbehaving with her. Which she opposed. After this, Pramod Kashyap of the village reached her house with his companions and caught her and brought her to the village square and beat her up badly. In this regard, Musajhag Inspector Manoj Kumar said that a case has been registered on the complaint of both the parties. The matter is being investigated. Action will be taken after the investigation.
