Baramulla: Case registered under PSA against terror instigator

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested a terrorist for instigating under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Baramulla district. The police said that, acting with determination against the anti-national elements, an unrepentant instigator named Nasir Ahmed Ganai of Palhallan (Pattan) in Baramulla district, who is currently lodged in the Central Jail, Kotbalwal, Jammu, has been arrested. But action has been taken under PSA. Police sources said, “This person is an unconditional instigator and several cases have been registered against him.” Sources said he was involved in disturbing public order and subversive activities. “Despite being involved in several FIRs, he did not give up his anti-national and anti-social activities,” he said.
