Raipur. In the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, keeping in mind the public interest in the field of medicine, new steps are being taken every day to expand public facilities by taking decisions in public interest in the health department. In this series, a big decision has been taken for government medical education colleges on the initiative of Chief Minister Sai.
Under this, the list of doctors and medical teachers taking non-practicing allowance (NPA) has been made public for the general public on the medical education website www.cgdme.in. The list gives information about whether the said doctors are doing private practice or not. It is worth mentioning that such doctors and medical teachers who do not do private practice are also given non-practicing allowance (NPA) by the government in addition to salary. Even after taking NPA, doing private practice is prohibited and it is against the rules.
To make the general public aware of which doctor is eligible to do private practice and who is not, the information regarding taking or not taking NPA by the doctors and medical teachers of all the government medical colleges and dental medical colleges of the state has been made public on the medical education website.
