Mumbai. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s personal life has always been a topic of discussion. Though the actress tries to keep her personal life as private as possible, there are many rumours that keep circulating in the gossip grounds. One of the most talked about and shocking episodes from her life is her relationship with Salman Khan. The Hum Dil Dekke Sanam star has been in the news for her alleged ugly breakup in the past. And then there was the episode with Vivek Oberoi. The infamous press conference in which she said that Salman Khan had threatened her is still remembered by many. Here’s another blast from the past.
Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had an emotional moment on the sets of Guzaarish and it was linked to the statements made by Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. A few days before the news of Aishwarya crying surfaced, Salman had given an interview in which he denied the allegations and said that he physically abused Aishwarya. He had commented that if he had hit Aishwarya, she would not have survived.
Later, Vivek Oberoi also made some comments on Farah Khan’s show. He said that Aishwarya Rai did not acknowledge his efforts and called him ungrateful. He also said that he regretted ruining her career by holding a press conference against Salman Khan.
All this reportedly affected Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was shooting for Guzaarish at the time. As per a Times of India report, she broke down on the sets and said, “I am living my life the way I want. I want others to do the same. Let me be.” Furthermore, the report also mentions that a friend of the actress then said that whatever Salman and Vivek Oberoi did was very rude and vulgar. But Aishwarya had maintained a very dignified stance even then.
On Simi Grewal’s show too, Aishwarya Rai had spoken about being replaced in films due to the controversy with Salman Khan. But that is all a thing of the past. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and even Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi have moved on in their lives.
