63.58 grams of Chitta caught from a young man and woman in Santoshgarh; Both are residents of Nangal, the child was also with them

The Anti-Narcotics Task Force has recovered a huge amount of heroin from the possession of a young man and a young woman riding a bike while earning another major success during the ongoing action against drugs. Registering a case against Ruplal, resident of Golni, Nangal tehsil of Ropar district of Punjab, and 27-year-old Nangal resident Nisha’s wife Pradeep Kumar, who was on a bike with him, has started investigating the matter.

The accused had kept a small child with them on the bike so that the police did not doubt the accused. The quantity of heroin seized has been found to be 63.58 grams. According to the information received, the team formed under the leadership of Additional SP Kulbhushan Verma of Anti-Narcotics Task Force had blockaded near Indra Palace of Santoshgarh.

Meanwhile, a young man, a young woman and a small child riding on bike number PB 74C 0676 were seen coming towards that team. Police stopped the bike riders and started questioning. Meanwhile, an envelope was found hidden near the speed meter of the bike, which was checked and heroin was found in it. The police immediately arrested the accused and registered a case against them, while the minor child was handed over to his maternal grandfather, who lives under Ropar district of Punjab. Additional SP Sanjeev Bhatia said that the police have registered a case in connection with the incident and started investigating the matter and further action is being implemented.
