Youth murdered over dispute over spreading sand and cement on road

Bilaspur. A case of assault has come to light in Sarkanda police station area. In which the accused attacked the youth who were going home with their friend on bike due to a minor dispute. A young man died in the case. While the condition of the other is critical. The incident happened last night. At present the police have arrested five accused of murder. The action is continuing there. Actually, Pankaj Upadhyay, a resident of Khamtarai Housing Board Colony, was going home on his bike late last night with his friend Kallu. Meanwhile, Gopi Suryavanshi was standing with his other brothers near Gopi Suryavanshi’s house on the main road near Khamtrai Atal Chowk. Where he was preparing the material for flooring in his shop by spreading cement, sand and gravel on the main road outside the house.

On this, Pankaj Upadhyay and his friend Kallu refused to spread ballast, sand and cement on the main road. Regarding this matter, Gopi Suryavanshi and his other brothers beat up Pankaj Upadhyay along with his friend Kallu. During the fight, both of them were fatally attacked with a wooden bat kept nearby. Due to which Pankaj Upadhyay and his friend Kallu were seriously injured. Both were admitted to SIMS Hospital for treatment. Where Pankaj Upadhyay died during treatment. His friend Kallu is seriously injured. Whose treatment is going on. At present, the police have arrested the accused Tilkesh alias Sallu Suryavanshi, Rupesh Sutre, Shiv Sutre, Sahil Sutre, Gopi Suryavanshi involved in the incident. Sarkanda police have seized the items used in the murder from the accused and are taking action under various sections.
