Raigarh. Today, during patrolling under the leadership of station in-charge Tamnar Inspector Praveen Minj, the accused Chamar Singh Yadav father Panku Yadav, resident of Kudripara Bazarpara police station Tamnar, who was transporting liquor on a motorcycle on the way to Baghbari in front of village Budia, was caught by the Tamnar police on informer information.
Mahua liquor pouch containing 11 pieces of 1-1 liter each was seized from the accused and a total of 11 liters of Mahua liquor was found kept. The motorcycle Hero Deluxe CG 13 UE 0773 used in illegal Mahua liquor and transportation has been seized from the accused after no satisfactory answer was given by the accused Chamar Singh Yadav regarding the transportation of liquor. The accused has been sent on judicial remand after taking action against the accused under section 34(2), 59(a) of the Excise Act in Thana Tamnar. Station in-charge Tamnar Praveen Minj, assistant sub-inspector Khemraj Patel, constables Bhishmdev Sagar, Kishore Kullu and Nandu Paikra have played an important role in the proceedings.
