Raipur. Manoj Patre, accused with liquor, has been arrested. Golbazar police received information that a person was standing near Shastri Bazaar carrying liquor in a blue-black bag and selling it illegally. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Golbazar, the Golbazar police team conducted a raid near Shastri Bazaar, the place mentioned by the informer. During the raid, when the team members searched the accused, they found Goa special whiskey and English liquor in a blue bag.
When accused Manoj Patre was asked for valid documents regarding possession/sale of liquor, he did not present any document of any kind. On which the accused Manoj Patre was arrested and illegally kept from his possession * 40 pouvas in total quantity 7 liters 200 ml English liquor worth about Rs 4800/- and sale amount Rs 380/- were seized against the accused, crime number in police station Golbazar. 18/2024 The offense of Section 34 (2) Excise Act was registered and action was taken.
