The villagers here have been worshipping Ravana for about 100 years. The villagers claim that Ravana fulfills their wishes. Some villagers said that Ravana was a block Pandit and when Lord Ram had to worship Lord Rameshwaram before building Ram Setu from Rameshwaram to Lanka. So according to the scriptures, he also called Ravana as a Brahmin for worship and Ravana was a learned Pandit there, who knew the scriptures, that is why the people of this village Bhatkhedi worship Ravana.
