World War II scene shown in Janhvi and Varun’s love story in ‘Bawal’ teaser

Mumbai (IANS). The makers of Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Bawal’ released the heartwarming teaser on Wednesday. The over a minute long trailer showcases the love, romance and war between the characters.

It also depicts a heart-wrenching scene in monochrome at a concentration camp during World War II.

Prime Video shared the teaser on Twitter and captioned it: “Love never comes easy, get ready for Baawal! Baawal, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, will be available on Prime on 21st July.”

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, “I am extremely proud of Baawal, a film that I believe will always be one of my most special and memorable projects. Working with a visionary like Nitesh and talented actors like Varun and Janhvi Doing this makes a producer’s job a lot easier, as we have managed to exceed our ambitions for the film. On July 21, audiences will witness a love story that will be remembered for ages.”

Pairing Janhvi on screen for the first time, Varun Dhawan plays Ajay Dixit, a school teacher in Lucknow. Everyone in town admires him. Whereas Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of Nisha, a beautiful and simple girl whose only hope is to find her true love. But love is never easy, and it has to go through a battle in itself.

Shot across India and several international locations, ‘Bawal’ is sure to be loved by audiences across the globe. It will release on July 21.
