Balod. Rajhara Transport Union has blocked the vehicles of BSP mines and blocked the roads demanding 5 points including transportation of 40% share of rail transport. Transport Union has gone on indefinite strike after no consensus was reached even after a meeting with BSP officials. Hundreds of people of Rajhara Transport Union along with Transport Union President Narendra Tuli, Ajay Agarwal, Sunil Jaiswal, Anil Suthar, Santosh Devangan, Govind Wadhwani, Ravi Jaiswal, Surjeet Pannu, Daman Deep, Santosh Koshi are sitting on dharna.
Main demands
- 40% of 100% rail transport should be given to the freight carriers of Dallirajhara Transport Sanstha from Dallirajhara to Bhilai.
- Transportation of pallets manufactured from the pallet plant currently under construction in Hiteksa should be given.
- The transportation of unusable iron ore sold by BSP management to the private sector should be given.
- Migration should be stopped by providing proper employment to the people of the area.
- The maximum amount received from the District Mineral Trust Fund should be used for the development work of the city.
