Woman’s lost necklace: Hospital staff hands it over to police

Tamil Nadu: Many people praised the hospital staff at the Kanchipuram Government Hospital on Thursday for immediately recovering a woman’s lost amulet chain and handing it over to the police.

When Priya, a resident of the Olimukhammad Pettai area of Kanchipuram, arrived at the government hospital, she was feeling unwell, and the amulet she was wearing had fallen off.

Finding the chain lying there, Bharathi, a government hospital employee, immediately picked it up and handed it to Head Constable Murugeswari of the Vishnukanchi Police Station, who was on security duty at the hospital.

Inspector Shankar Subramaniam and Head Constable Murugeswari of the Vishnukanchi Police Station honored Bharathi with a shawl and a reward for promptly returning the chain from the 2-pound bag.

Kanchipuram Government Head Hospital Superintendent Balakrishnan and Station Medical Officer Bhaskaran also praised Bharathi’s good deed.

After this, the Vishnukanji Police Department handed over the amulet to its owner Priya.
