Microsoft is pushing the latest version of the Windows update and this has been creating headlines for some days. The update we are talking about is none other than the Windows 11 version 24H2 update. The update has now entered the last phase of the ‘rollout’ and it is configured to download automatically on your PC/ laptop, mentioned report by ‘Windows Latest.’
The latest update will be available for the Windows users if their system has the required compatibility. Interestingly, the Windows 11 24H2 update will be automatically downloaded into the system of some users. The update can also be found in the Settings of some users after they click on ‘Check for updates.’
“Devices running Home and Pro editions of Windows 11, versions 23H2, 22H2, and 21H2 that are not managed by IT departments will receive the update to version 24H2 automatically,” mentioned the company in its official blog post. “Note that some devices temporarily may not show the update to version 24H2 if we detect an incompatibility,” it added.
Windows users will get an alert for the upgrade, if the Windows 11 24H2 update is getting downloaded and is pending installation. However, users do not get an option to cancel an ‘upgrade’ after it already gets downloaded. However, Windows offers you an option to choose the time to install the update.
