Wife and mother-in-law together murdered a young man

Ambikapur. After a dispute between husband and wife last night in Keshavpur under Manipur police station of Ambikapur, the wife along with her mother killed the young man. The young man was caught by his wife and his mother-in-law strangled him. The family took the young man to the Medical College Hospital, where he died during treatment. Police has arrested the two accused. According to the information, Keshavpur resident Anup Singh (35) had a dispute with his wife Aarti Singh (24) and mother-in-law Shyam Bai (45) last night. Anoop Singh’s mother-in-law Shyam Bai had come to her daughter’s house from Vishrampur for about one and a half years and was living here. Angered by the dispute, Anup Singh attacked his wife Aarti Singh with a broom and Aarti Singh got injured on her nose.

After Aarti Singh got hurt on her nose, she threw Anup Singh and caught him. Shyam Bai strangulated Anup Singh. Seeing this his daughter ran away and called her elder father Akil Singh. Akil Singh freed the struggling Anoop Singh and took him in an unconscious state to the Medical College Hospital. Anup Singh died during treatment at the Medical College Hospital. The police took immediate action in the case and arrested Aarti Singh and Shyam Bai. Action was taken against him under Section 302, 34 and he was presented in the court, from where he was sent to jail. Manipur SI Prem Sagar Khutia, ASI Naval Kishore Dubey, Bablu Kujur, Head Constable Maheshwar Singh, Lady Constable Neelam Yadav, Archana Devi, Constable Kush Kumar Soni, Suresh Kumar were involved in the action.
