AIR 86: Jalandhar student’s hard work pays off

Punjab: It’s a proud day for students and parents in Jalandhar, as the city’s brightest student, Advik Sharma, has achieved a remarkable performance, securing AIR 86 nationwide in the recently announced JEE-Main 2026 results. This achievement has not only brought pride to his family but also brought joy to the entire city. Advik Sharma explained that the key to his success was consistent hard work, discipline, and time management. He prepared for nearly two years, studying for eight to ten hours a day and taking mock tests. According to Advik, hard work and consistent practice played a key role in his success.

Advik’s parents, Seema and Rajesh Sharma, explain that Advik was a bright student in studies and science since childhood. They said, “This is a proud moment for us. Advik achieved this feat through his determination and hard work. We knew he would achieve great things.” Many education experts and teachers in the city are calling Advik’s success inspiring. He said that achieving such a top rank from a city like Jalandhar shows that with the right guidance and hard work, even students from smaller towns can excel at the national level. Advik also shared that his preparation included a mix of online and offline coaching. He said, “Mock tests improved my speed and accuracy. I advise all competitors to focus on their weaknesses and keep improving from time to time.”
Advik’s school and coaching institute also congratulated him on his achievement. His teachers say that Advik’s success will serve as a source of inspiration for other students. Experts believe that with this rank, Advik has a strong chance of getting into prestigious technical institutions like IITs and NITs. Advik’s next goal is to excel in JEE-Advanced and get admission into an IIT.
