Mahasamund. A case of forgery has come to the fore against the deputy sarpanch of Malidih village panchayat of Tumgaon police station area of the district. In which both of them prepared the lease of forest land in a fake way and sold paddy on support price in lieu of that land. Crime has been registered against both of them under sections 420, 467, 471, 468, 34 on the complaint of Collector Tribal Development Branch.
According to the information, the Deputy Sarpanch has also been the Sarpanch of Malidih Gram Panchayat from 2015 to 2020. In the forgery case, the Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development Branch officer had made a written complaint at Tumgaon police station. According to which through maladih village resident Dilip Asgar and his wife Kamta Bai, khasra number 829/1 rakba 1.95 hectare and khasra number 829/2 rakba 1.95 hectare of village Malidih forest area, paddy purchase center by fraudulently preparing forest rights patta. Got registered in Tumgaon and sold paddy.
On January 19, the Collector had formed a four-member team to investigate the matter. The investigation team has told the police in the complaint that during investigation Dilip Asgar and Kamtabai Asgar were asked for the original document of forest rights lease. But he did not present that document. Under these circumstances, the forgery of the concerned was revealed. Now both the deputy sarpanch and his wife are absconding. The police is actively searching for both.
