Union Minister Bittu refused to shake hands with Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: An unexpected incident took place in Parliament. When Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi was about to shake hands, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu refused. The incident took place this morning at the Makara Dwarka entrance of Parliament. While the opposition was protesting, Union Minister Bittu tried to enter the House through that route. Noticing Minister Bittu’s arrival, Rahul Gandhi commented that a traitor was coming. Union Minister Bittu also countered that comment. Rahul Gandhi called him an enemy of the country.

Ravneet Bittu has won as an MP three times. He was the Minister of State for Railways. He joined the BJP during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, Rahul, who made a comment while looking at Bittu at the entrance of Makara, was about to shake his hand. Hello brother, Rahul said that you are a friend who cheated you, don’t worry, you will come back to the Congress. However, Union Minister Bittu, who refused to shake his hand, scolded Rahul at his counter. He accused him of sitting like someone who had won a war. Minister Bittu explained why he did not shake Rahul’s hand. He criticized the Gandhi family for carrying out Operation Bluestar in 1984. He also said that the anti-Sikh riots were also carried out by the same family.

When Rahul Gandhi was about to shake hands, Minister Bittu accused him of saying, “You are a traitor, you are an enemy of this country, you talk less about the country’s armed forces every day, no Sardar will join hands with the Gandhi family, and you murdered Sikhs.” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, along with opposition members, staged a protest in the Parliament premises against the suspension of 8 MPs. This incident took place at that time.
