Union Home Minister Amit Shah to make a two-day visit to Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will come to Odisha on a two-day visit beginning from May 10, informed state BJP President Manmohan Samal on Friday.

While speaking to the newsmen about the visit of the Union Minister, Samal said that Shah will reach Bhubaneswar on May 10 and will lay the foundation stone for a forensic university in Jatani.

Later in the evening, he will offer prayers at Puri Jagannath Temple, and will have night halt there, the state BJP President said.

On the next day i.e on May 11, the Union Home Minister will make a visit to the Maa Samaleswari temple and after offering prayers at the shrine, he will lay foundation stones of several projects in Sambalpur, Samal added.

As per his schedule, Shah will return to Bhubaneswar from Smablpur to address a public meeting at Janata Maidan and lay foundation stones of various projects.

The Union Home Minister is also expected to meet some state leaders of the saffron party before leaving for Delhi.

A meeting over Amit Shah’s visit to the State was held at the party office which was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and BJP’s state in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar.
