Two cousins died due to electrocution

Thane: In a tragic incident, two cousins lost their lives due to electrocution in Badlapur area. According to the statement of a police officer of Badlapur police station, the incident took place on Saturday night at a farmhouse when the brothers were cleaning the chicken coop.
Senior Police Inspector A.M. Giving information, Kshirsagar of Badlapur police station said, “Two cousins living in Dhawale village area near Vangani had gone to the farmhouse for some work. Unfortunately, when Jayesh touched the door, he got an electric shock, which caused the lightning to spread. Kumar Biker (17), who ran to save Jayesh, also got electrocuted and both of them died instantly. However, the third cousin who came to his rescue escaped with minor injuries.”
Kshirsagar said, “Kumar’s father had taken charge of the farmhouse in Dhawale village. The incident took place during the maintenance and cleaning work of the farmhouse. An accidental death report (ADR) has been registered in the matter.”
