Two bike riding youths tried to rob an ITI student by stabbing them

Bilaspur. The terror of robbers has increased in Bilaspur. After robbing a bike from the manager of a finance company, now two bike-borne youths in the city stabbed an ITI student and tried to rob them. The injured student bravely fought with the miscreants, after which the bike-borne miscreants fled fearing being caught. Whereas, in the second incident, the robbers made the lab worker a victim of robbery and ran away after looting mobile and money from him. Both the cases are of Civil Line police station area.

Ranjit Kumar Tamarkar, a resident of Aasta in Jashpur district, is studying ITI while living in Masturi. He went to his home on June 19 last. On Sunday, he left for Bilaspur by boarding a bus. On Monday morning at around 4 am, his bus reached Mandir Chowk in Jarhabhatha, from where he was going to the old bus stand on foot. He had just reached Mangarpara Road. At the same time, two bike-riding boys came and asked him the time. During this, the miscreants asked him for money, then the student refused to give the money.

When the student refused to give the money, the miscreants attacked him with a knife. Seeing their antics, the student raised an alarm and tried to apprehend the youths. Despite being injured, the student bravely fought the miscreants, after which the miscreants thought that they would be caught, then left him and ran away. The injured student reached the district hospital sitting in an auto. After getting treatment, he informed the police about the incident. On his report, the police have registered a case against the miscreants and started searching for them.
