Two and a half year old girl buried while reversing car, dies during treatment

Bhilai. A two and a half year old child died after being crushed under the rear wheel of a car while reversing it in the city. Seeing his elder father taking out the car, the innocent child went behind the car to go with him. During this time, he died after being crushed under the rear wheel. Police have started investigating the matter. Police said that the said incident happened on Sunday evening. Sagar Soni, two and a half year old son of Shastri Nagar resident Vinod Soni, died in the accident. Vinod Soni’s elder brother was going out for some work.

He was backing the car and taking it out. Meanwhile, Sagar Soni ran towards his elder father and got buried under the rear wheel of the car. The family immediately took him to BM Shah Hospital. Where he died during treatment. After receiving information from the hospital, Supela police has filed an FIR. It is being told that the incident site is in the Cantonment police station area. Therefore, Supela police is sending the file of the incident to Cantonment police station. Further investigation will be done from the cantonment.
