Tomorrow 1 crore 39 lakh voters will cast their votes on 7 Lok Sabha seats

Raipur. In the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held on 7 May on 94 seats in 12 states. Voting will be held in 7 seats of Chhattisgarh. In which votes will be cast in Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, Durg, Raigarh, Surguja, Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha constituencies.

Today, Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale held a press conference and gave information regarding the preparations for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024. He told that voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm in 58 assembly constituencies of 7 Lok Sabha seats of Chhattisgarh. The total number of voters in these Lok Sabha constituencies is 1 crore 39 lakh 01 thousand 285. This time the number of voters has increased by 9.34 percent compared to the previous phase. 11 lakh 87 thousand 470 voters are new in this election. Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale said that tomorrow has been declared a public holiday in the state.

In view of the heat, this time additional arrangements for waiting halls have been made in the polling centres. Cooler has also been arranged. Pandals will be set up in polling stations. Arrangements for drinking water, lemonade and ORS solution will be made. Mitanins will also be present along with medical insects.
