Three branches of Thane were surrounded with barricades

Maharashtra: On one hand the Metro project is underway and on the other hand illegal constructions have been made on the road across the road, due to which the area around Teen Haat Naka and Eternity Mall, the centre of Thane city, is facing unprecedented traffic jams. This entire area is dominated by big leaders of Thane. In such a situation, the Thane Municipal Corporation administration is showing its indifference towards these constructions and structures which are obstructing traffic. The common people of Thane are surprised to think who is blessing these structures and structures. The people of Thane, who are trying to reach their destination by finding a way through the narrowed roads due to this encroachment, have to get stuck in traffic jams every day. It seems that no one is ready to pay attention to this.

Pushpa Agashe (73), a social worker who spread awareness about eye donation in Teen Haat Naka area, died in an accident. After this accident, a heartbreaking picture of the plight of Teen Haat Naka intersection is now coming to the fore. Thousands of vehicles from Ghodbunder, Thane city, Bhiwandi reach Mulund, Bhandup, Wagle Estate via Teen Haat Naka-Eternity Mall-LBS Road. Currently, the construction work of Wadala-Ghatkopar-Kasarvadavali route is going on. The lanes here have become narrow due to the metro pillars. Apart from this, the main and service roads and footpaths outside Eternity Mall have been hit by a large number of illegal stalls for the last few years. Ticket registration for long distance private buses is done here. Many private tour and travel companies have stalls here. Pan stalls, restaurants, vehicle wheel shops, stalls have also been set up here.

Employees of companies in the area, citizens coming for ticket registration park their vehicles here by blocking a part of the road. A rickshaw stand has also been set up in this area. Due to this, citizens going to work in Mulund, Bhandup and Wagle Estate from Harinivas, Naupada, Eastern Express Highway were getting troubled due to traffic congestion. Despite being the main road, only two to three lanes were available to the drivers here. There is no footpath left for pedestrians due to illegal footpaths. There is a stop of BEST buses in this area. Citizens living in Thane area walk towards the bus stop for these buses. There is a crowd of those passengers here. Also, pedestrians going to Eternity area for work also come and go. Therefore, the question arises that if any accident happens in this area, then who will be responsible for it. It is worth noting that this entire area is dominated by big political leaders of Thane. Despite this, it seems that the remoteness of this area is being ignored by the authorities.
