Bilaspur. The disruption of international flights due to the war situation in Iran has thrown the return journey of three young men from Kota into uncertainty. The return flights of three young men from Kota who had traveled to Dubai are constantly being cancelled.
They were originally booked for February 28th, but the flight was cancelled. They then received a new ticket for March 3rd, but that too was cancelled. Now, they have a flight ticket for March 5th, and they are hoping to return home using that. Shivam Mishra, a resident of Kota, said over the phone that he had come to Dubai with his friends Akash and Ayush. The plan was to travel and spend memorable moments, but the sudden increase in tensions in neighboring countries disrupted the flight schedule. Shivam explained, “We are completely safe here. There is no war-like situation in Dubai. The city is functioning normally, tourist sites are open, and people are busy with their daily routines.”
Shivam said that while he is not worried about safety, the repeated flight cancellations have certainly increased his mental stress. The young men said their families are in constant touch and waiting for any updates. Family members at home ask them daily when they’ll return. They have to explain that everything is fine here, only flights are being affected.
