Thiruvananthapuram: The first registration of property in the name of a person belonging to the transgender community in Kerala, with gender mentioned as ‘TG’, was done in Chavakkad, Thrissur. Faisal Faisu, 38, also overcame the hurdle that others in the transgender community faced in registering land in their name, as the online system only mentioned gender as “masculine” or “feminine”.
