Under the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman (Midday Meal) Scheme, the third installment of Rs 76 crore 2 lakh 90 thousand has been allocated to the account of the Single Nodal Agency for the financial year 2023-24. Out of the third installment released by the Directorate of Public Instruction to the districts, Rs 33 crore 77 lakh 31 thousand were given for material cast, cook honorarium Rs 40 crore 75 lakh 84 thousand and M.M.E. An amount of Rs 1 crore 49 lakh 75 thousand has been allocated for (management). In the letter issued by the Directorate of Public Instruction to the District Education Officers, it has been said that the allocated amount is to be spent through the PFMS portal. The amount allocated for the item (component) should not be spent in excess. Make sure that this amount is spent immediately. The amount of the next installment will be provided only after the amount is spent.
