Jharkhand. A couple was murdered after breaking into their house in Deoghar. The incident happened late on Monday night. People have arrested a young man on charges of murder. After committing the crime, he hid in a box in the house. The reason for the murder has not been clear.
It is being told that the accused youth had entered the house of Anuj Baranwal living in Singhwa locality to commit theft. He murdered Anuj Baranwal and his wife Basmati Devi. Meanwhile, the people nearby got wind of this. People gathered and informed the police.
With the help of local people, the police broke the shutter and entered the house and caught the young man hiding in the box. Anuj Baranwal and his wife Basmati Devi both ran a small shop. There was no one else in the house at the time of the incident. Police are investigating many aspects. The arrested youth is being interrogated.
