Punjab: A property dispute between two brothers turned violent when Dilbagh Singh allegedly rammed his car into his elder brother Gurvinder Singh, his wife and daughter in an attempt to kill them. The incident, which took place in Gatti Jattan village near Dharamkot in Moga district, was captured on CCTV cameras. Gurvinder and his family members were standing at the gate of their house when Dilbagh and his wife arrived there in a car. Dilbagh first pushed his wife down and then accelerated the speed of the vehicle, crushing all three.
All three were seriously injured and were admitted to a private hospital in Moga by neighbours. Gurvinder said that tension escalated after his parents moved into their house a month ago after Dilbagh evicted them from their house. Since then, Dilbagh had been threatening them. DSP Ramandeep Singh said an FIR has been registered against Dilbagh Singh and his wife on the statement of Gurvinder. The accused is yet to be arrested.
