Sangeeta Yadav, 30, daughter of Ramnarayan, resident of Chandauli, Sadh, was a computer operator in the Municipal Corporation. She was living on rent in Manorama Devi’s house in Ambedkarpuram for the last six months. On Tuesday, Sangeeta committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan with the help of her dupatta in her room. Seeing the dead body hanging, the landlady informed the police and family. Police seized a two-page suicide note from the incident site. Kalyanpur Inspector said that preliminary investigation has revealed that she committed suicide due to upset over her lover’s marriage. The girl had also participated in the tilak of her lover. Further action will be taken upon receiving the complaint.

No one is responsible behind my suicide. Police have seized the mobile phone of the deceased. At the same time, police investigation revealed that on the day of her lover’s tilak, the girl had reached there and danced. But on Monday, hurt by her lover’s marriage, she committed suicide.
