Gopeshwar. The doors of Chaturth Kedar Bhagwan Shri Rudranath Temple were opened with rituals this morning. Lord Rudranath ji will be seen in the temple for 6 months during summer. Priest Janardan Prasad Tiwari told that a large number of devotees have reached Rudranath on this occasion.
The journey to the famous Gurdwara Hemkunt Sahib has started from today. The doors of Gurdwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib have been opened today at ten o’clock in the morning amid the announcement of Shri “Jo Bole So Nihal Sat Shri Akal”.
After the opening of the doors, thousands of devotees offered prayers and recited Guru Granth Sahib. On this occasion, the office bearers of Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib Trust and thousands of devotees were present. It is noteworthy that registration is mandatory for the devotees even for Hemkunt Sahib. There is still snow on the way, the army has made a way to reach Hemkunt Sahib after a lot of effort. On Wednesday, May 17, Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmeet Singh ji and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had flagged off the Panj Pyaras and Nishan Sahib from Hemkunt Sahib Gurdwara Rishikesh. On this occasion, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, Forest Minister Subodh Uniyal, Urban Development Minister Prem Chandra Agarwal Guru, Vice President of Shri Hemkunt Trust Sardar Narendra Jit Singh Bindra, Sardar Sewa Singh etc were present. The batch had reached Ghangaria on last Friday and this morning reached Hemkunt to open the doors from Ghangaria. The doors of the famous Lokpal Tirtha Laxman temple near Hemkunt Sahib have also opened today.
