Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually launched the Chhattisgarhi Parab Samman Nidhi 2023 scheme. Its benefit will be given to 06 thousand 111 gram panchayats of 61 development blocks of the state. At the same time, the scheme will be implemented in all 551 gram panchayats of the district. It is known that this scheme has been implemented with the aim of saving the cultural festivals and traditions of the state.
Under this, an amount of Rs 10-10 thousand will be provided to each gram panchayat in two instalments. While congratulating the people of the state in the virtual inauguration programme, the Chief Minister talked about saving the traditional festivals and festivals and cultural heritage of the state, as well as highlighted the purpose of the scheme. In the virtual inauguration program organized from 12.00 noon, Collector Nileshkumar Kshirsagar, District Panchayat CEO S. Alok and local panchayat representatives participated in the collectorate meeting hall at the district level. It is worth mentioning that the culture and traditions of Teej-festivals of non-scheduled rural areas of the state have to be preserved and the transfer of these festivals and festivals in their original form to the next generation and recording of cultural traditions.
Local festivals, festivals, fairs have special importance in the villages of community areas. Funds will be made available to each gram panchayat for the purpose of preserving all such festivals, festivals and cultural traditions. Each gram panchayat will be given Rs 10,000 each in two instalments. A Gram Panchayat level governing body committee will be constituted for the implementation of the scheme. Sarpanch (chairman), priest, Baiga member, 02 elderly members of the village, two women members of the village, village Kotwar, Patel member and village secretary have been included in this.
