Tamil Nadu: Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said that the central government is betraying Tamil Nadu in many ways by snatching away its financial and linguistic rights.
He also delivered a speech at a wedding ceremony at the house of a DMK functionary in Thanjavur on Friday:
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is implementing several schemes for 1.3 crore women, such as the Women’s Dawn Journey, the Breakfast Scheme, the Innovative Women’s Scheme, and the Artist Women’s Rights Scheme. Because of this, Tamil Nadu is the leading state among the developing states of India with a growth rate of 11.19 percent.
The BJP’s fascist central government, which cannot tolerate all this, is harassing our Tamil Nadu government in many ways. They are snatching away our financial rights and linguistic rights. They are once again bringing in the New Education Policy and trying to impose Hindi and Sanskrit on the students of Tamil Nadu.
The budget announced by the central government a few days ago does not contain a single scheme for Tamil Nadu. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proudly says that she is from Tamil Nadu. But the central government has not announced a single scheme for Tamil Nadu. The word Tamil Nadu is not even mentioned in the budget. In this way, the central government is betraying Tamil Nadu in many ways.
The Leader of the Opposition, Edappadi Palaniswami, who should be condemning all this, calls it a very good budget. He is a subservient slave of the BJP.
No matter how many people come forward, it is certain that the DMK will win at least 200 seats in the upcoming assembly elections, and our leader will become the Chief Minister again. I am confident that Thanjavur district will be the starting point for this. Therefore, party functionaries should get into the field and work hard for the next two months, Udhayanidhi Stalin said.
