Udaipur. A bike rider and a passer-by returning from a wedding died on the spot after a vehicle collided on the Kolyari bypass on Sunday night, while a young man riding a bike was injured. On information police reached from Falsia police station and Kolyari outpost. Along with taking the injured to the hospital, the dead bodies were kept in the mortuary of Jhadol CHC.
Kolyari outpost in-charge Kantilal Salvi told that Shankar Singh s/o Waje Singh, resident of Jharpipla area, had gone to Bawalwada police station area to attend a social program and Narayan Singh, s/o Megh Singh, resident of Gohwada police station was returning home by bike on Sunday night. . At 8:30 pm, a speeding vehicle hit his bike at Jhankra Tirahe of Kolyari bypass of Udaipur Idar National Highway 58 E and also hit Bhim Putra Gobra resident Jhankra who was walking on foot. Both the bike riders along with the passers-by fell away.
During this, an unknown vehicle fled from the spot along with the vehicle. On information, the police, with the help of the villagers, took all three in an ambulance to Kolyari Primary Health Center, where the doctors declared bike rider Shankar Singh and passer-by Bhima dead, while another injured was referred after first aid. Along with informing the relatives of both the dead youths, the police got the dead bodies kept in the mortuary of Jhadol CHC.
