In all the districts of Chhattisgarh, the mercury is almost beyond 40 degrees. In such a situation, people are now waiting for the monsoon. In fact, the Meteorological Department has issued Orange and Yellow alerts in view of the increasing heat and heat waves in the state. The Meteorological Department has issued Orange Alert for Surguja, Bilaspur, Mungeli, Korba, Janjgir, Raipur, Baloda Bazar districts and Yellow Alert for Korea, Balrampur, Raigarh, Mungeli. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, there will be severe heat in the state for the next 24 hours.
