Delhi Delhi. Tata Motors, the leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has announced a price hike of up to 2% across its range of trucks and buses from January 1, 2025. The company will vary depending on the model and variant, but it will be applicable across the entire commercial vehicle lineup. In another recent development, Tata Motors has achieved a remarkable milestone by selling 15 lakh trucks in the Intermediate, Light and Medium Commercial Vehicles (ILMCV) segment, becoming the first Indian manufacturer to reach this milestone. To mark the occasion, the company has introduced new variants of popular models including Tata SFC 407 Gold, Tata LPT, Tata SFC 709G, Tata LPT 1109G, Tata LPK 1112 and Tata LPK 1416.
Additionally, Tata Motors is offering special financing schemes and a 6-year extended warranty on all ILMCV trucks by targeting first-time buyers, ensuring greater reliability and customer satisfaction. Tata Motors’ ILMCV segment comprises trucks with gross vehicle weight ranging from 4 to 19 tonnes, catering to the diverse demands of industries such as agriculture, e-commerce, construction, and logistics. These vehicles are designed for fuel efficiency, offering operators low ownership cost and minimal uptime.
Apart from its commercial vehicle segment, Tata Motors has announced a price hike of up to 3% across its passenger car lineup, including both internal combustion engines (ICE) and electric vehicles (EV), effective from January 2025. The company cited rising inflation and higher commodity costs as the primary reasons for the hike. The adjustment will vary as per model and variant. The ICE models that will be affected by the hike include the Tiago, Punch, Altroz, Tigor, Nexon, Curve, and Harrier. The price revision will also impact EVs, including the Curve EV, Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and Punch EV.
